...anyway something that we haven't discussed for quite some time.

where is our section mascot? poor little froggy :( feel so sorry for it wherever it may be now...

did someone find it? i have no idea...

and in about 5 days i'm flying overseas for about one week (2nd-9th december) so no msn-ing at that time. bb all... :) luckily it doesn't coincide with any band activity.

1.5 days until Si Kai and Yu Chen's D-day. Actually it could have worked out well if they both came for Monday and Wednesday pracs... ~8 hours of sectionals! Too bad they decided to come on different shifts.

Kinda pity them though. I think they only had 2 weeks to get it right, and we (me and Jerald) had ample time to get it right. Oh well, with Yuchen's come-late-because-of-MRT attitude and Si Kai's dunno-why-never-come-today act, won't be shedding tears if they get screwed by David.

Oh, and Friday marks the last prac for this month, or rather before the big break. Not sure if we deserve the break though...

Xylo Solo

The one vote from Zhuf seals my fate of having to post on this blog.

Lets see... okay today, only problem is NO SECTIONALS *cries*. Other than that, it was very nice to see Yuchen (finally) know how to play about 40% of the solo (according to Jerald). Must commend him for mustering the courage to play and sing out. Though he was shy at the start... and his playing was soft too. Maybe he is really really scared of Mr Oura.. xD

Bruce where did you get all those info from? Maybe the sec 3s just want to make you feel good xD Of course the sec 3s would like their juniors more compared to yours :) And you can sorta say that we are not doomed because if we are, the rest of the band is disasterous. But we need to keep our standards up. :D

We Are NOT Doomed!

No we are not. Sikai and Yuchen have good potential in learning, and Ben 'n' Jerry are already up and ready to play the entire song.

Out of all the sec 3s that I've asked, all agree that Sikai-Yuchen and Ben-Jerry are one of the best in their batches, so don't dissapoint them :p

We are doomed.

Yay. How fun.

Probably the only thing good about coming today was to see Brian and to make Jerald irritated at the fact that he doesn't know how to play the MRT game. :P

We are screwed. With so many parts and so little talent. The song will definitely not sound as nice as it used to, because everyone is taking over a part that during prometheum was played by someone more pro... except for Jerald's part. But no one cares, because mallets can almost never be heard (especially marimba), except for the "I" and "K" trio.

Outside our (screwed) section, even hearing about the sec 4 area becoming a gambling den... eeks. I do not think there was anyone who was practicing in the final one or two hours. Almost everyone was slacking... including... us.... thanks to Brian's theory of "one for all, all for one". That makes me wonder why no one proposed playing together or something.

Carmen not un-fun no more. So just wish that either Mr Oura will reconsider Midsummernight's Dream (fat hope), or biased judges at SYF (fatter hope). Because it's for the good of our section :)

Anyway WHEEEEEEEE~ CTs are over, lets not care about my disasterous pathetic awfully disgracefully lowly marks.

Band was... disasterous... sigh. Sec 1s with their usual disrespectful behaviour, leaving without permission (for the toilet) during concert. Gasp... and since the admin block is under serious rennovation (spelling?), the nearest toilet is probably the Jr block, unless you want to do it in the bushes *ahem* And they took, like, 15+ minutes o.O

We have enough people, but not enough talent. Many parts to juggle. Hopefully the set piece will be a tad easier for us, we really need it. Ferdian trying his part today, can see him doing his best.. kind of pitying him because he was sight reading off the score and Mr Oura was expecting a lot from him. Glissss...

Maybe we really should punish anyone who comes late without a reason, or those who pon *ahem ahem*. Maybe I should really see a doctor, my coughing... nah never mind. As long as I can keep it going for 2+ months... :)

Second last day of school, sigh. Dissolved class; dissolved streams... *stares at kinchun, envying him*

I really need to get my own blog. But can't revive it... just typing out of boredom :(
